Sophie

In 2011 I graduated from the University of Guelph with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Biology, and then went on to complete my Veterinary Technician Diploma at Algonquin College, in Ottawa.

In 2014 I moved to the beautiful mountains to be closer to family, and joined the team at the BRVC as an Animal Health Technologist. Even as a young child, I knew that the only path for me involved caring for animals. For this reason, there was no other reasonable option than to enter the veterinary world and help provide the best patient care.

At home, I enjoy my time with my loved ones, Eric and two sweet cats, Effy and Winnifred. I love cooking and baking, traveling to any wonderful place, biking in the mountains and around town, snowboarding, sailing, and everything involving the outdoors.
